Dr. Andy Binns -Chairman

Dr. Andy Binns retired in 2011 as the Director of FTE & Student Reporting for the School District of Palm Beach County, which serves over 175,000 students. He was responsible for insuring that student data was recorded correctly in the district’s Student Information System (TERMS) and accurately reported to the FDOE. Throughout the years, he developed scheduling procedures that ensured the district met the constitutional Class Size requirements, addressed remedial instruction, and accounted for all instructional personnel. Dr. Binns currently consults with charter schools across the state addressing their student scheduling and data reporting. He has been teaching finance/budgeting courses over the last 20 years for several universities and has developed curriculum for courses at the Graduate and Doctoral levels. He and his wife are avid travelers and have resided in Palm Beach County since 1988.

Judy Lehman

Being born and raised in Palm Beach County,Judy Lehman proudly calls herself a Florida Native. She began an extensive teaching career after attending University of Florida and Florida Atlantic University in 1988. Judy has teaching experience across all three levels; 16 years teachingElementary School (all subjects), three years teachingMiddle School (Language Arts),and 11 years teaching High School(English). While working in this capacity, she also has served as an Instructional Leader, Mentor for teachers and teacher leaders, Choice Program Coordinator, Graduation and College Bound Coach, writer and manager of many federal and state grants, Coordinator/Facilitator of Professional Learning Communities, and Coordinator of Professional Development. Along with her years of teaching, she hasserved as a Specialist in the Department of Professional Development serving as the School District’s Coordinator for the Alternative Certification Program, Instructor ofClinical Education, Facilitator and Trainer of Teacher Induction Network,as well as District Trainer for the Marzano Observation and Evaluation System. While working as a Specialist, she became an adjunct professor at Palm Beach State College in their Continuing Education department. She strives to be a lifelong learner, believing that high expectations of her, peers and students are strong elements that will lead to her success in any environment.

Dr. Melinda Coleman

Dr. Coleman is an Educational Leadership program professor for Nova Southeastern University: Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction. Dr. Coleman served in public education for 19 years. She previously served as a Middle School Administrator for the Palm Beach County School District, Palm Beach County, Florida; the Round Rock Independent School District in Round Rock, Texas, and the Mansfield City School District, in Mansfield, Ohio. Her proven leadership and team-building skills, coupled with the ability to direct strong teams in managing student, parent, and community are utilized for consulting with school districts to delineate and analyze their curriculum and leadership programs in order to develop strategic solutions to further their educational-planning goals. As a Middle School Administrator, her relationship development expertise helped her to aggressively build solid educational programs, stakeholders, and drive educational growth and student performance.

Mr. David Jackson -Member

Florida native, attended Palm Beach County Schools; graduated from the University of South Florida BA Finance and Florida Atlantic University, MBA. Married with two children.

Commercial banker in South Florida for over 40 years. Providing banking and financial solutions to business and middle market corporations in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach county. With TD Bank in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Volunteer experience includes: Palm Beach Maritime Charter School (Board Member), Boca Raton Rotary Club (past president and board member), Dare Run/Healthy Heart/Pirate Invasion Run (chairman), Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, Boca Hoops (former board member) and the Pioneer Club.

Dr. Eunice Casey

Dr. Eunice Casey currently serves as the Director of School Leadership and Support Services with EdisonLearning, Inc. Dr. Casey is a graduate of the Abraham S. Fischler School of Education at Nova Southeastern University, where she specialized in Secondary Education, Teaching Methods and Teacher Education. Dr. Casey is anexperienced educational leader with an extensive background. In addition to her formal education and training, she has a history of hands-on experiences and in her professional roles, she has ensured the implementation and development of a responsive and restorative school culture and cultivated systems of high expectations across a number of schools. Dr. Casey has been successful in supporting the professional growth of school leaders, staff members, and has a consistent history of advancing shared organizational goals.

Shari Cooper, Parent/Facilitator Liaison

Mrs Shari Cooper has been a early childhood teacher since 1989. She has taught grades Pre-K through 2nd Grade in both public and private schools in New York and Florida. Mrs. Cooper attended Queens College in New York for her undergraduate and graduate teaching degrees. Mrs. Cooper taught Kindergarten for four years at PBMA and has been our Parent Liaison since 2016. The Parent Liaison's job is to bridge the gap between home and school by helping parents get the information and support they need to ensure their child's academic and social success.

Mrs. Cooper also organizes parent volunteers and fundraising.
